U.S. May End Russia Nuclear Trade Deal

A "State Department source" tells CNN that the Bush administration will likely withdraw from the 123 Agreement, which would have greatly increased the trade of nuclear goods, services, and technology with Russia, as punishment for Moscow's military actions in Georgia.

CSIS Russia expert Jon Wolfsthal charges that Congress was unlikely to approve the deal in any case, so "they are making a virtue out of a necessity."
